Ballyheigue beach is an award winning blue flag beach, a safe haven for swimming and well suited for long walks. The Bed and Breakfast is located directly across from the grounds of a 19th century castle, which has been re-designed as a golf course.

Ballyheigue village is within a minutes walk, there is a restaurant just 60 yards from our front door, and another situated in the White Sands Hotel. In the village there are plenty of grocery shops, butcher shops, and bars, where Irish culture trives.

There are many local attractions. There is also a large GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) grounds where Hurling and Football are played, a newly finished Hand Ball alley, and a local community centre where you can use the modern gym facilities. Ballyheigue also has a new playgound for children overlooking the beach.
